FAQs

  • We cover all of Northern Ireland on a regular basis and further afield if you require. Travel time and costs incurred beyond a 15 mile radius of Belfast (Belfast City Hall being the starting marker) will be charged additionally.

  • Initially, Claire or Lisa can arrange a FREE no obligation chat on the telephone to discuss how Order in the House can help you.

We can then carry out a more in-depth 30 minute consultation at your premises (or remotely if required) to establish your needs and the time that might be required for your project.

We will then return at a mutually convenient date to carry out the designated 'plan of action' provided after the consultation process.

  • We can organise a small area like a closet or larder but we also enjoy tackling bigger projects such as establishing a stylish storage system, streamlining house contents before a move or unpacking a house upon moving.

We are experienced in decluttering and staging rooms so that they are ready for the housing market.

  • Charges for services will be levied at a rate of £285 for half a day (3.5 hours) or £495 for a full day (6.5 hours approx). This is inclusive of both of our services (two people). A full day effectively provides 13 hours of ‘womanpower'.

50% of the overall fee is to be paid upon booking to secure your date, the remaining 50% is paid upon completion of the work.

  • For areas like closets and bedrooms it can be helpful for the client to work with us to establish which items are precious to them, which items can be donated etc.

For less personal areas like kitchens, clients may prefer to give us some initial direction and then leave us to work our magic.

  • We have Professional Indemnity and Personal Liability insurance with Westminster Insurance.

  • It really depends on the project, some jobs will take longer than others.

  • At present we do not have a licence to dispose of waste in Northern Ireland. We will always take all of our own rubbish away and are happy to take small items to charity shops on your behalf.

  • We are happy to offer gift vouchers but due to the personal nature of the work that we do we recommend discussing this with the donee before purchasing a voucher on their behalf.

See our Terms & Conditions for more detailed information on how we work.
