Our Story

Hi, we're Claire and Lisa the faces behind Order in the House. We're from Belfast in Northern Ireland, and Northern Ireland being what is it, we became friends through mutual acquaintances. Our friendship blossomed over our shared love of finding bargains and it has since developed through our shared passion for stylish interior design coupled with functional organisation.

We're both married with young children, Claire is mum to two girls and Lisa has three daughters and a son. It has been in our roles as working mothers, who juggle the demands of modern day life, that we've come to recognise in our own homes, that a cluttered space can often be a stressful space. Nevertheless, mastering the drudgery of decluttering is no easy task, it takes time and often a fresh perspective to help us establish new systems of organisation and to cultivate new habits. For these reasons we're passionate about helping clients create clear, functional, and at the same time stylish areas within their homes and work spaces..
