How to give back as you clear out

The start of a new year always presents us with the opportunity to do away with the old, possibly to make room for the new or simply to create more space in our homes. It may be that you take your pre-loved items to charity shops, or for some of the ‘very loved’ items the local dump may be the only place for them, but you may not be aware that there are items among those unwanted goods, no matter the condition, that can be recycled. I want to highlight a few such initiatives to you because if there are ways that your pre-loved goods can be recycled and reused then why not do it?
